STORM -2022-2024

  • Following the Italian Festival, Michelle Perkins made the transition from performing primarily as a cover artist to becoming the lead vocalist for STORM's original music.
  • In the Fall of 2022, John Mattei, Len Oliveri and Michelle Perkins entered the studio to begin recording the band's next chapter.

    STORM - 2022

    • Early 2022 – Bassist Joe Mecca officially joined STORM. The original plan was simply to record two songs: "Our Love" and "Thunder and Lightning."
    • As rehearsals progressed, it quickly became clear that the chemistry between the musicians was special. Joe Mecca and drummer John Mattei had been friends since childhood, while lead singer/guitarist John Romeo had been with STORM since its earliest days. The lineup developed into a tight, cohesive band.
